| Welcome to Shenzhen Golf Club (SGC) is one of the first golf clubs in China, established in 1985. It is also one of the closest clubs to Hong Kong as it only takes 10 minutes drive and about 20 RMB in a taxi or Didi from the Huang Gang Border. The club has traditionally been the haunt of many International members, given its close proximity to the Hong Kong border, the original A/B Course was designed by Isao Aoki, the famed Japanese Golfer. with the help of Designers Nelson & Haworth, who also designed Century Seaview, Xili, Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai among others, were given the task of revamping the A/B course as well as adding the newer C course. The club (A/B Course) was the venue for the DP World Tour 2006 Volvo China Open https://www.europeantour.com/dpworld-tour/, which England’s Paul Casey won after a playoff with fellow countryman Oliver Wilson. | |||||||||||
